We are heartbroken by the passing of Bianca Beyrouti, a dear friend, a dedicated community advocate, and a member of our Board of Directors. Bianca was a vital presence in the Bay Area film community, known for her unwavering commitment to inclusivity and her ability to forge meaningful connections. Her heart, kindness, and courage left an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Bianca dedicated her life to uplifting underrepresented voices and creating pathways for others to succeed, and her legacy will continue to inspire us all. As both a volunteer and a Board member she championed Arab voices in the industry, and particular those of our Queer communities. Our annual Arab Love: Queer Lens program would not be where it is today if not for her tireless dedication.
For those in the San Francisco Bay Area, a Celebration of Life will be hosted in honor of Bianca Beyrouti at the Roxie Theater on Sunday, January 26th.
For all details and to confirm attendance, please RSVP here by Wednesday Jan. 22nd.
We look forward to gathering with you to honor Bianca’s beautiful life.
