Join the AFMI team as a Transformative Leaders Fellow

For the 6th consecutive year, we are proud of partnering up with NNAAC for a leadership development training program!

The NNAAC Transformative Leaders Fellowship Program is designed for Arab American undergraduate juniors or seniors or graduate level college students, or recent graduates.

Fellows will be expected to work 16 hours per week in an Arab American human services/arts & culture organization, and will be given opportunities to learn about all aspects of a non-profit organization, including administration, grant writing, fundraising, communications, community engagement, and service delivery, among other things.

Fellows will be supervised on the ground at their host organization, as well as have a NNAAC Supervisor who will oversee fellows for orientation, monthly curriculum meetings and deliverables, Leadership Days in DC, and more. Fellows will be required to attend an orientation for the program in Dearborn, Michigan October 2nd-4th, as well as Arab American Leadership Days in D.C. in May/June 2025.

The Fellowship program will run from September 2024 to June 2025, and each fellow will receive a $6,000 stipend throughout their service in three installments.
